Public assistance is being sought to locate a white Volkswagen Golf 1 that was hijacked in Mount Moriah – KZN in April 2026.
The owner informed Reaction Officers today (Sunday, 24/05/2026) that he and another occupant were allegedly held at gunpoint before their vehicle was taken by armed men.
The vehicle is described as a white Volkswagen Golf 1, 2005 model, 1.4i with registration CN 75 PF ZN. The owner stated that the vehicle had approximately R150 worth of fuel in the tank at the time of the incident. A child’s SASSA grant card was also reportedly left inside the vehicle.
According to the owner, the vehicle had slight rust around the edges of the front fenders and patches visible on the bodywork due to ongoing repairs.
