POLOKWANE – Two foreign male nationals aged between 29 and 42 are expected to appear before the Musina Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 January 2026, for possession of suspected stolen property and business burglary.
The incident occurred on Monday, 12 January 2026, at a local hardware store in Musina. The business premises were locked for the day, and everything was in order the following morning when they opened. It was then noticed that the palisade fence and iron mesh fence had been cut. Further inspection revealed that one roll of the fence was stolen.
The matter was reported to the Musina Police Station, and the investigation commenced.
On Saturday, 17 January 2026, during the day, the multi-disciplinary forces comprising Musina Detectives and the Task Team conducted an intelligence-driven operation at Musina Nancefield, where the suspects were apprehended.
Preliminary investigations led members to Matswale Phase Three, at a certain household where the stolen property was hidden. During the search, a roll of mesh wire fence was found and seized.
The investigation continues.
