On Monday 17 August 2026, SAPS Mbuzini Social Crime Prevention members accompanied by members of Rural Safety, Traditional Policing and Communications, Sergeant Ngomane JM together with DCSSL TSM Ms Magagula Lucy conducted a Safer Schools awareness campaign at Shayindlovu Primary School in Mbuzini, Mpumalanga.
About 517 Learners and 14 Educators were addressed and sensitized on several topics pertaining to crime including:
Dangers of substance abuse.
Say no to bullying.
Gangsterism.
Dangerous Weapon Act.
Rights of Children.
School Learner Code Of Conduct.
Then learners were further motivated to focus on their studies as education is the most valuable key to their future.
