A vacant residence on Hemlock End in Trenance Park – KZN has been repeatedly targeted by burglars in recent months.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from neighbours reporting a burglary in progress today (Tuesday, 18/08/2026). According to the caller, a lone burglar was seen entering the home through the roof.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and accessed the roof, where they discovered the point of entry. A neighbour informed First Responders that the burglar had fled minutes before their arrival.
Frustrated residents stated that the property had been vacant for approximately three (3) months and was attracting suspected drug users.
Copper pipes had previously been stripped from the exterior, while burglars were now entering the residence in search of other valuables.
