The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Springs Precinct Officers are attending to a protest action on Clovefield Road in Springs.
The road has been barricaded with rubble and stones, resulting in the temporary closure of the affected section. Officers are on scene to maintain public safety, monitor the situation and manage traffic flow.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and make use of alternative routes where possible.
