Reaction Officers returning from an unrelated callout were flagged down by a member of the public on the R614 in Esnembe – KZN requesting assistance to locate the family of the minor who had been found sitting alone on the side of the road.
Officers interviewed the child who identified himself as Mlungisi Madikizela. He stated that his mother is Ntombenkisi Madikizela and his father is Mandla Madikizela.
According to the boy, he resides at ka Bhusmani near Bhamshela – KZN and had left his home at approximately 11:00. He was attempting to return home, but lost his way and cannot recall directions to his residence. Efforts are currently underway to locate his family.
