A 1.5-metre Black Mamba was safely captured in the Oakford – KZN after it was spotted inside a garage being used as a storeroom.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a request for assistance this afternoon (Sunday) after the highly venomous snake was located beneath a wall-unit cupboard. RUSA Area Manager
Nkosinathi Ndaba was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, Ndaba assessed the situation and successfully captured the snake without incident.
The reptile was secured and removed from the property.
