Members attached to #OperationShanela II deployed in the Western Cape to combat the ongoing gang violence, conducted a high-density operation in Makhaza on 15 November 2025.
Members received information about a person of interest who was hiding at the army base nearby, after he was allegedly involved in the attempted murder case on Spine Road.
The suspect (28) was apprehended and found to have a revolver with three empty cartridges which he allegedly removed from the crime scene.
