At 21h56 on Tuesday night Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian collision in the Gcilima location near Margate. Exact detail to the cause of the crash will remain a subject for police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that two people had been hit by a vehicle, one a female that tragically died at the scene while a man sustained serious injuries. Paramedics stabilised the man at the scene before he was transported to hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
