Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to a temple in Drift – KZN today (Friday, 28/08/2026) following a break-in.
On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that the storeroom had been broken into at an unknown time. A small fold-up ladder and an extension cord were stolen.
The suspect is believed to have entered through the rear fence and avoided the outdoor alarm beams. The individual thereafter climbed through a hole in the wall of an abandoned toilet and gained access to the storeroom situated at the front of the property.
The temple has been targeted by thieves twice within one (1) week.
