PVES members received multiple requests for assistance regarding a male patient who had been assaulted and was reportedly bleeding heavily.
Members responded to the scene while ambulance services were being arranged.
On arrival, members found a male patient with a laceration to his left temple. The wound had initially bled heavily, but the bleeding had largely stopped by the time members arrived.
The wound was cleaned and assessed, and the patient was checked for any additional injuries. No other significant wounds were identified.
The patient also displayed signs of intoxication but remained responsive and able to communicate with responders.
GPG ambulance services arrived shortly thereafter. The patient was handed over to the ambulance crew, loaded into the ambulance, and transported to a medical facility for further assessment and treatment.
