The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Germiston South Precinct Officers, impounded two (2) abandoned, partially stripped vehicles that had been left unattended on the side of the road.
Prior to the impoundment, Officers issued both verbal and written warnings to the alleged owners, requesting that the vehicles be removed. After no action was taken, the vehicles, a sedan and a hatchback, were removed from the corner of Odendaal and Queen Streets and transported to the EMPD Vehicle Pound in Alberton for safekeeping.
