Incident Details:
RO9 responded to a complaint regarding an attempted cable theft. Upon arrival, members found one black male (B/M) attempting to steal approximately 90 metres of cable. The suspect sustained an electric shock during the attempt.
The Control Room dispatched SAPS (Ref: 4282309) and GPG (Ref: 101684) to the scene.
SAPS attended the scene, arrested the suspect, and transported him to the police station for further processing. RO9 accompanied SAPS to the police station to provide a statement in connection with the incident.
