A 40-year-old male suspect was arrested for possession of drugs by members of the #SAPS Fezile Dabi District Trio (Drug) Team.
On Friday, 12 June 2026, at about 07:00, police acted on information regarding a male suspect allegedly involved in drug-related activities in the Marikana Section of Viljoenskroon.
The operational team proceeded to the identified location, where a search was conducted. During the search, police recovered one-third of a Mandrax tablet and seven small zip-lock bags containing crystal methamphetamine.
The suspect was arrested, and the recovered drugs were seized for further investigation and processing.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Viljoenskroon Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of drugs.
