The Durban Metro Police Service TSU, acting on information from Crime Intelligence, conducted surveillance and obtained a search warrant.
On 31 March 2026, SOD1 members executed the warrant, leading to the arrest of one male for possession of crack cocaine (50 pieces), unlawful possession of ammunition (102 rounds), and a magazine. Cash amounting to R420, suspected to be proceeds of crime, was also seized.
The suspect was detained at Phoenix SAPS. This operation highlights the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and ongoing collaboration with law enforcement partners in combating drug-related crime.
