Durban Metro Police Service South Highway Patrol members acted swiftly on intelligence-driven information received yesterday regarding a stolen vehicle.
Information from Crime Intelligence indicated that a white VW Polo stolen in the Newlands area was being tracked moving within the KwaMashu area.
Members responded immediately and successfully located the vehicle on Msibisi Road, KwaMashu.The vehicle was found abandoned, unlocked, and partially stripped. A Metro Police tow truck was arranged, and the vehicle was recovered and transported to Newlands SAPS for further investigation and safekeeping.
The Durban Metro Police Service commends the members for their swift response and ongoing efforts in combating vehicle-related crime.
