On Thursday, 26 March 2026, at about 07:10, members of Vredefort CSC,Vredefort Detectives, together with the reservists, acted on information about a silver bakkie suspected to be involved in drug dealing.
While patrolling along the R59, members spotted and intercepted the identified vehicle near Vredefort Dome.
Upon searching the vehicle, members discovered 12 black refuse plastic bags containing Swati dagga.
The dagga weighing approximately 110kilogram, with an estimated street value of R100 000, was confiscated.
