Police in Bloemspruit are appealing to the community for assistance in locating 17-year-old Xenedene Oerson, who has been reported missing by her family.
According to the victim’s father, the teenager was last seen at their residence in Grassland on the morning of Friday, 27 February 2026. The father alleges that he left for work at approximately 07:00, while Xenedene was still asleep at home.
Upon the return of both parents later that day, Xenedene was not at the house. The family initially believed she had gone to church and would return shortly. However, she failed to return home that evening and has not been seen since.
The matter was officially reported to the Bloemspruit Police Station on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, after the family’s efforts to locate her were unsuccessful.
The SAPS is urgently calling on anyone who may have seen Xenedene Oerson or has information regarding her current whereabouts to contact Warrant Officer Booi of the Mangaung Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit.
