Just after 10:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a motor bike accident in the Waterkloof Ridge area of Pretoria east, on arrival we found one patient who sustained moderate injuries to his abdomen being assessed by an off duty Doctor who stopped to help.
Our team activated the panic button on the delivery drivers phone to have a private ambulance dispatched by AURA SA . The ambulance arrived within minutes and transported the patient to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
