An Indian male was found with multiple stab wounds in the Phoenix Plaza area on Saturday afternoon following a suspected altercation.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services were dispatched after receiving multiple calls from law enforcement officials requesting urgent medical assistance.
Upon arrival, KZN VIP Medics found the male suffering from multiple stab wounds and in a critical condition.
Immediate life saving interventions were initiated on scene whilst a nearby medical facility was notified to prepare for the critically injured patient.
The patient was stabilised on scene before being transported rapidly to a nearby medical facility for further urgent medical treatment.
The exact circumstances leading up to the incident cannot be confirmed at this stage and remain under investigation by the relevant authorities. All emergency services were in attendance.
