A thirty-four (34) year-old male was stabbed during a housebreaking incident involving three (3) suspects at a residence in Mhlasini, KwaZulu-Natal, at approximately 01:00 this morning (Wednesday).
The victim later arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) headquarters at approximately 07:44 where he sought assistance. He informed Reaction Officers that he was asleep when the suspects allegedly forced entry into the home. He woke up during the incident and was reportedly stabbed by one (1) of the suspects during a scuffle.
The suspects allegedly removed a television and a radio from the premises before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained severe stab wounds to both his arms.
He was stabilised by RUSA Paramedics before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
