Vigilant members of the Atlantis Crime Prevention Unit arrested a 15 year old male for the possession of an unlicensed firearm on Sunday night, 05 April 2026.
The members were conducting crime prevention patrols in Bunting Crescent, Atlantis when they noticed a group of people standing on the corner. The members approached the group and one person ran away. One members chased after the suspect and apprehended him with a 9mm pistol in his possession.
He was arrested for the possession of a unlicensed firearm and will appear in the Atlantis Magistrates’ court on Tuesday.
Members of Public Order Police were conducting stop and search operations in Hindle Road, when they noticed a male walking in the road, and when he saw the police vehicle he started to run. He was apprehended and searched and was found with ten mandrax tablets, ten small packets containing crystal meth and four rounds of ammunition in his possession.
The 37-year-old suspect was arrested for the possession of drugs and the illegal possession of ammunition and will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates’ court tomorrow.
