A 24-year-old male was robbed of R1400 in cash and a Samsung A04 cellphone by two armed suspects on Prickly Pear Road in Waterloo – KZN this morning (Saturday).
The incident occurred while the victim was receiving a bread delivery at a tuckshop operating from a shipping container. The suspects, both armed with pistols, approached him and demanded cash & his cellphone. One assailant struck the victim on the chest with a firearm while the second removed the money and phone.
The robbers thereafter fled the scene on foot.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) conducted an extensive search for the suspects, however no arrests were made.
