In the early hours of this morning, Titanium Securitas officers were patrolling through the Vredelust area when they spotted a known suspect strolling along the road.
Without hesitation, the Titanium Securitas officer stopped to question the individual about his activities. When he failed to provide a reasonable explanation, the officer requested to search his bag – which the suspect permitted.
Upon inspection, multiple tools and dangerous weapons were found inside the suspect’s bag. A further search revealed a knife concealed in the suspect’s sleeve.
The suspect was immediately detained, and Kuils River SAPS was contacted. The suspect was taken into police custody for further processing.
