A stray bullet shattered a bedroom window at a home on Maple Drive in Trenance Park – KZN this afternoon (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the property at approximately 21:47 after receiving a call for assistance from the distressed homeowner.
The occupants of the house informed Reaction Officers that they had recounted hearing a loud, sudden noise before rushing to investigate. Upon entering the bedroom, they discovered the window had been shattered by a bullet, which was later found on the floor.
The origin of the bullet remains unclear, and it has not been confirmed who fired the shot.
