A 32-year-old male suspect, arrested for possession and dealing in drugs during an intelligence-led operation on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, in Polokwane town under Capricorn District, is set to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court soon.
The operation was coordinated by members of the Provincial Flying Squad after receiving information, about a suspect selling drugs at a liquor store in Polokwane. He was identified and tactically approached. Upon being searched, drugs with an estimated street value of R6 000.00 were recovered. The suspect was then arrested for possession and dealing in drugs.
The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Police, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, praised the ongoing police efforts to combat drug-related crime in the province and dismantle drug distribution networks affecting local communities.
