On Wednesday 27 August 2025 at 04:30, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Southern Region unit Officers, arrested the third suspect aged thirty (30) years in the Primrose area.
Following on an arrest earlier on of two(2) suspects that were apprehended for tempering with essential infrastructure on Main reef road, Officers went back on patrol, on the same road and caught the third suspect in the act, digging and in possession of x3 10meters of aluminium cables. He was also found with a pick axe, shovel and a hacksaw.
The lawbreaker was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station, facing charges of tempering with essential infrastructure.
