Keimoes SAPS arrest three armed robbery suspects

The police in Keimoes swiftly responded to a business armed robbery on Thursday, 21 August 2025, and subsequently arrested 3 suspects aged 21 and 31.

It is alleged that the three suspects entered a shop purported to buy, and they robbed the shopkeeper at gun point.

They fled on foot with stolen items, including cigarettes and cellphones, amounting to R19 640-00.

The police immediately launched a manhunt which led to three suspects who were positively linked to the robbery.

The stolen items were recovered, and the firearm was confiscated for further investigation.

The three suspects are in custody and are expected to appear in court.

The rapid response by Keimoes SAPS was commended by the District Commissioner of ZFM, Major General Monica Sebili.
