Counterfeit goods seized in Tembisa and Wierdabrug

The Gauteng Counterfeit Unit, in collaboration with brand protectors and Gauteng wardens, conducted an operation on Tuesday 12 August 2025, in Tembisa and Wierdabrug.

The operation resulted in the seizure of counterfeit goods, including: Labels for counterfeit consumables, counterfeit cellphone accessories and counterfeit toys with a total value of R2,686,600.00.

This operation demonstrates the Gauteng Police’s commitment to protecting consumers and combating intellectual property crimes, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all.
