By-laws operation conducted by EMPD female officers and other agencies in the Kempton Park area

On Tuesday 05 August 2025 between the hours of 09:00 – 13:00 , the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) female Officers and other law enforcement agencies, conducted a By-laws operation in the Kempton Park area.

During the operation officers confiscated perishable goods, stopped and searched one hundred and nine(109) vehicles and issued seventy-five(75) fines and discontinued one (1) motor vehicle.

Officers also closed down four (4) spaza shops and two (2) scrap yards for non-compliance during the operation.

These operations will continue throughout the month, in the City of Ekurhuleni.
