Attempted Burglary: Brindhaven – KZN

A lone suspect fled after he was spotted attempting to break into a property in Brindhaven – KZN this morning (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Lavender Place after the homeowner spotted the male removing a window pane leading into their garage. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival established that the suspect fled.
A knife (picture 2) used to remove the glass was located on the ground next to the garage. A green unknown vehicle was seen driving off after the burglar fled, but it could not be confirmed if it was the getaway car. The property was broken into a week ago and several items were stolen from the garage.
It could also not be confirmed if the same suspect is responsible for the theft of approximately fifteen (15) meters of copper pipes and two (2) taps on Larkspur Drive in Brindhaven – KZN yesterday (Tuesday).
