At approximately 19h42, KZNVIP Armed Response Officers responded to a Hi-Jacking incident at Falkirk Avenue, Avocca.
Four armed Suspects (Bravo Mikes) arrived in an unknown vehicle and approached the complainant. The Suspects produced firearms, they then forcibly removed the complainant from his vehicle, a white Isuzu D-Max (registration BK 07 HF GP), and fled the scene.
SAPS officers were dispatched to the scene and initiated an investigation. However, during initial interviews with the complainant, no further information could be obtained.
Shortly thereafter, Investigators found that the tracker devices had been compromised by the suspects, yielding no additional information.
SAPS officials transported the complainant to the station to file a formal complaint and initiate a case.
