NELSPRUIT – The police in Bushbuckridge have launched an investigation following the disappearance of a missing boy, Bokang Wiseman Mpangane (07), who was reported missing in Shanganhill, Bushbuckridge.
According to a report, on the evening of 03 October 2025 around 22h00, the mother of the missing child received a phone call from the boy’s father, who resides in Shanganhill, informing her that Bokang, who had visited him, had gone out to play and had not returned home and later that evening, the matter was immediately reported to the local police station. A search was conducted, but unfortunately, Bokang was not found.
The matter has since been assigned to the Acornhoek’s Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for further investigation.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have any information that could assist in locating Bokang to come forward.
