A man was shot in the leg during a robbery on Valley View Drive in Redcliffe – KZN yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the scene at approximately 22:39 after being alerted by a passerby. Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The victim informed First Responders that he had been walking with two friends after leaving a tavern when occupants of a white vehicle stopped and drew firearms. His friends managed to flee, but he was shot and robbed of a Bluetooth speaker. His cellphone and wallet remained in his possession.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
