Germiston police arrested three suspects aged between 20 and 38 for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition on Sunday, 18 May 2025.
The VISPOL members were performing patrol duties at Junction Road Driehoek when they noticed a white Nissan NP300 with three occupants. The members stopped and approached the vehicle, which was searched and two firearms with live ammunitions were found. The suspects failed to produce the licenses for the firearms.
