Shortly after 22H29 last night, Thursday, 19 July 2018 Netcare 911 responded to an accident on Voortrekker Road in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga.
On arrival, Netcare 911 and other emergency medical services found that the car had come to a stop and was trapped under the truck’s undercarriage. Upon further assessment paramedics found three occupants (two males and a female in their 30s) and that the driver was entrapped in the vehicle, the Fire and Rescue department extricated the patient. They were all stabilised on the scene before they were transported to the hospital for further medical care.
At this stage, the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
