A 12-year-old has drowned this afternoon in a residential pool in the Valhalla area.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by the local authorities.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the body of a 12-year-old girl lying next to the swimming covered by a blanket. Two other young girls and an elderly woman were found nearby.
Paramedics assessed the girl and found that she showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
