Apple has released its “Rewind” of 2010, looking at the top iPhone and iPad apps of the year in Ireland.

The top paid app was the game Angry Birds, which has seen phenomenal success over 2010. The top free app was the Facebook app, followed by the free version of Angry Birds.
The top grossing app overall was the TomTom UK and Ireland app, bringing sat-nav to iPhones. This was followed by TomTom’s Western Europe app and Angry Birds.
Apple looked at trends appearing in 2010 among iPhones, which included photo and video apps, cooking apps, apps for working remotely, augmented reality apps and apps involving zombies, pirates and ninjas.
