TomTom announced the little brother of the Go 750 Live along with pricing and expected availability
In June this year TomTom launched its LIVE services in South Africa.
Since then TomTom has reported good sales of its flagship LIVE services device, the Go 750 Live.
TomTom announced today that the 750’s little brother, the Go 650 Live device with updated South African maps will be available locally during October 2010.
The Go 650 has a 4.3” display and other than up-to-date maps of South Africa, TomTom says that the Go 650 provides real-time HD Traffic updates every two minutes.
Similar to the 750, the 650 sports pre-installed safety camera locations, five-day weather forecasts and advanced lane guidance. It also has Bluetooth so drivers can make and receive calls while driving.
Availability and pricing
According to TomTom the Go 650 Live will include a one year subscription to LIVE services for free and will be available during October from all retail stores nationwide.
Its recommended retail price is R 2499.00. A subscription to LIVE services will cost R499.00 for the second year, TomTom said.
