Giles Margerison, sales director TomTom Business Solutions, said: “Our record growth in 2010 is testament to TomTom’s provision of relevant fleet management solutions at the cutting edge of the technology and our highly dedicated business team. 2011 going to be an extremely exciting year and we are delighted to be announcing such positive news during challenging economic times.”
In 2010, the company further extended its range of fleet management solutions, including the development and launch of ecoPLUS™. The success of such products saw its number of active subscriptions reach in excess of 132,000.
Margerison continued: “Fleet managers now understand the scope of what telematics can offer businesses, such as cost and fuel savings, driver behaviour, safety, and reducing carbon footprint. This is apparent through continued, strong demand for our products; recruiting for these new positions will allow us to meet these market requirements.”
