It is the sixth year of the Innibos Arts Festival (01 – 05 July 2009) in Nelspruit and another record attendance is expected. More people, more party goers … and that’s where TRAC assists!

Trans African Concessions (TRAC), the toll concessionaire operating and managing the N4 Toll Route between Pretoria and Maputo, is a proud sponsor of the Innibos Arts Festival in the Mpumalanga capital. “Because we manage the road infrastructure of the Maputo Corridor, road safety is one of TRAC’s major concerns,” says spokesperson Anita Heyl. “Our road users are our clients”.

Most commuters to and from Nelspruit make use of the N4 before, during and after the Innibos Festival. It is for this reason that TRAC decided to provide a “road safety” or designated driver service at Innibos.

With support from Mazda (cars), Nestle and Selati (sustenance), Tom Tom (satellite navigation) and BP (fuel), TRAC can deliver a service to those who enjoy the Festival a little too much.

Between 80 000 to 100 000 people are expected to converge at the main grounds during the 5 day Innibos Festival and the designated driver service is underpinned by TRAC and its partners’ commitment to responsible driver behaviour and road safety.
